WelcomeAt BT, we believe that volunteering creates opportunities to support our people to do the things they are passionate about in their local communities.BT Community Champions recognises and rewards BT employees who do voluntary work in their local community. As part of BT's volunteering programme any permanent BT employee from around the world, who has been volunteering for more than twelve months, can apply for an award. This can be employees who volunteer in BT time or in their own time. If successful, your group will receive a cash grant of up to £500 (or equivalent in euros or dollars). BT's volunteering programme provides you with an opportunity to use your energy and skills to make a difference in your local community. We know that many BT people already have active roles in schools, charities etc but do not realise that by registering themselves, they are recognised as making a difference, and get support from BT with up to 3 days each year that can be used to help the organisation. If you already make a difference in your local community or would like to find out how to get involved please register your time with the volunteering programme.
